About NSTI

National Skill Training Institute (Women), Jammu, J&K has affiliated to NCVT by its meeting on October 2020 and commences classes on January 2021. National Skill Training Institute (Women), Jammu is established by Directorate General of Training under Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India. This an exclusive institute for women candidates facilitates long term courses for Women candidates in Computer Software Applications (CITS) and Smartphone Technician cum App Tester (CTS new age course). Admission to CITS course is through All India Entrance Examination and admission to CTS course is based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Both the admission are through online:

National Skill Training Institute has two extension centers one at Srinagar and other at Leh, Ladakh. Both the extension centers commence its operation in the academic year (2021-22) onwards.

Institute is also the Extension Center for IGNOU, NIOS, PMKVY/SHI. Conducting short term courses under various SSCs. The 'Skill Hubs Initiative' under PMKVY 3.0 aims at creating shared infrastructure, aligned with the needs of the local economy which addresses the vocational training needs of all target segments. Now a Girl's Hostel is also started functioning with NSTI, Jammu.
